ABOUT the ARTIST
Amanda is an internationally published and award winning photographer based in Nashville, TN with over ten years experience in portrait photography. Her fine art self portrait work can be found in Other Worldly Women and High Press Shelf.
A series of life-changing events altered the course of her life forever and she began creating self-portraits as an outlet to healing. Her work has been described as raw, evocative and cathartic.
Amanda’s work is inspired by personal experiences as well as the exploration of the feminine experience. With a strong background in photography and Photoshop, Through her camera she tells the story of women. Her work encompasses many facets of a woman’s journey, heart and soul through bold imagery.
Amanda currently resides in Franklin, TN with her husband, two daughters and pup Flower. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, writing, yoga and time in her she-shed. She is currently working on a memoir documenting the period of time that inspired much of her current work.
